The worldwide premiere of the first James Bond film 'Dr. No' was held at the London Pavilion on this day in 1962.

There were five showings throughout the day starting at 10:45 a.m. A gala screening took place in the evening attended by Sean Connery, Ian Fleming, Bond producers Harry Saltzman and Albert R. Broccoli and the films director Terence Young.
